this is my favorite coffee shop on campus!! lots of variety of drinks. i love their oatmeal cookie latte. the service is wonderful and they are very willing to replace a drink if it needs milk substitutions. their pastries are also very yummy!! great pairing with a drink. great place to bring a friend, and very cute atmosphere that is wonderful for studying. the workers have a great attitude and the general manager is sooo friendly 3

Coffee lovers will not be disappointed in the drip brew here. There is a large second connected room where you can work or study as you enjoy the atmosphere, excellent bakery choices, or coffee selection. I ended up using the convenient large marker board behind me after I struck up a conversation about data production and management of water treatment facilities with another patron next to me. Parking is what you expect in the campus town area.

I just got the BEST chai drink I've ever had (ordered a double shot dirty chai) and just had to leave a review. Both of the baristas there were so sweet and helped me decide on my order. I really wish I had asked their names so I could mention them, but I'm sure everyone here is lovely! I've been to the shop a few times before this and have never once been disappointed. Definitely recommend!! (P.S.: I am so sad that I forgot to take a picture of the beautiful latte art, otherwise I would have included it)

Had an amazing time here when I was visiting Champaign. Situated at the east side of the UIUC campus, Brew Lab is easily accessible from buildings around the Main Quad such as the Altgeld Hall and the Illini Union. They offer classic espresso drinks, cold brew, a few selections of single-origin pour-overs, and an extensive list of loose leaf tea. After asking for recommendations, I ordered the Kigoma from Huye, Rwanda, a washed processed light-medium roasted beans from Counter Culture. The pour-over is made on a copper V-60. The drink is rich and flavorful. The sweet and slightly bitter taste gives a strong toffee note, a hint of vanilla, and a mild citrus fruit acidity. I also tried out the iced cascara tea. Light, refreshing, fruity, with notes of raisins and Chinese dates. A very unique drink. In my view, BrewLab is the best coffee shop in town, and I highly recommend to check it out!

Delicious coffee with a fun menu, great vibes, and incredible service. Barista Hannah was very sweet and welcoming, even writing a sweet note on my drink when I said it was my last day on campus as a UIUC grad. Thank you, Hannah! :)

Great place! The coffee is fantastic and the space is perfect for working in. Space is clean with steady tables and plenty of outlets to plug into. The clean and creative atmosphere makes for a great place to work on creative projects or just hangout.

This is a very cute little coffee shop! A decent menu with a variety of drinks and coffees and a nice little baked goods section! Folks here are friendly too!
